Fall Love

Hi Everyone, It’s getting colder here…Saturday night down to 37, it just came to fast for me.

I’m in the house today because it’s really windy out and hard rain coming in as the forecaster

says, so I’ve been taking a few pictures of fall around here for you to see!

Since I’m stuck in the house I wanted to see if my fall plates and glasses were okay for the holidays, plus found and washed the napkins.

My centerpiece is from around the house this year also except for the mini pumpkins I got those at Walmart!

Love the glittery pumpkins on the tea cart they seem to shine on the tray!

I’m thinking of painting the hutch a light gray because when the walls in the kitchen

and where my desk is are gray we won’t be painting the livingroom or diningroom…so

I’m thinking that it would be a good idea to do the hutch gray! I do like it white but I

think it’s time for a change.

My son was throwing this rug in his garbage when I stopped him I’ve always loved it and

now it’s in my diningroom!

The hoosier always gets a pumpkin and an old pumpkin pie spice tin!

Big  Autumn Bash

Happy Halloween

Hello everyone, how are you on this Halloween night? Alex and Nicholas had their Halloween tonight , they had a good one

warm out but windy with the leaves flying off the trees and sprinkles of rain.

I watched Nicholas today and when I got home I wanted to take a picture of the tree

that is in our front yard, it turns a gorgeous gold.

I’ve always loved this tree, beautiful in the summer and gorgeous in the fall. I’m glad

I took the pictures today because I’m sure a lot of leaves were blown off tonight.

I went really simple this year with the front porch, no rocking chair this year, just flowers and

pumpkins.

Halloween Mantel and New Centerpiece

How are you all?  Beautiful here today, blue skies and fluffy white clouds but a chill in the

air …only 51 degrees today.

I wanted to show you my Halloween mantel before Halloween is over…gheese this month

has flown by hasn’t it?

First I’ll show you my new centerpiece that I put together, I got tired of the basket, the box

the jars and vase are sitting on I found a couple years ago for $4.00 which says “Varnishes”

on the one side.

I went thur my stash and found two jars in the hoosier plus the vase, added cracked corn in all

of them and some sugar maple smelling tea lights

I put a larger candle in the middle one but didn’t care for it, I like it like the

above picture. The tin witch is from Goodwill.

I hope you have a good, fun day today, our Trick or Treat and parade was last Saturday. Sam and Syd looked so darn cute as a 50’s Rocker and Little Red Riding Hood:) Alex will be a teen werewolf and Nicholas is a lion, their Halloween is tonight…so cute!
Don’t you love this shoe for Halloween?  I thought I’d throw in a little bit of fashion for today!

BTW Michael came thur the hurricane just fine, he said the wind was howling so loud at one time that you just held your breath…praying! His backyard was flooded but that’s the extent of damage so far. Thank you to all that prayed for him, thank you so much!
