Hello Everyone!

So sorry for being away so long but I’m having a hard time with pictures loading and then not finding them, it is just not like Windows 7 and I

do get discouraged, plus I have to wait for Chris to stop by like he did this morning and I know he just cringes

when I ask him to try and fix it!

It’s football season here again, I’m not talking about the Steelers but highschool football, my son coaches, so every Friday we and the

whole family it seems sit in the bleachers and cheer him on, so far he has won every game! The picture below is of

Alex, coaches daughter, Samantha holding Nicholas, I’m using my iphone to take pictures because my camera is not working right!

This summer I noticed my hair, after the operation, looking bad (all those meds) so I had Renee, my

hairdresser, do me in my natural color with a little bit of blonde feathering on the bottom.

Here I am with my oldest granddaughter Sydney,school shopping in August, I can’t believe

she is going to be 14 this year.

I’ve also been watching Nicholas on Thursday’s, he goes to Pre-School

but is off on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s! He has fake glasses on here

and he held the puzzle up so you could see how he put it together.

This is my grandog she is so adorable and I sure love her so much… her paws

crack me up, they look like mittens to me!

I’ll be back tomorrow and show you some of my fall and yes, I did put out a little, tiny bit of Halloween decorations,

I figure I may as well do it all so that I don’t have to get it from the basement twice!

Yardsale, Boating and Swimming

Did you ever go to an amazing yardsale? I did a few weeks ago, everything priced right

and new…you see the lady who had the sale was a manager of Penny’s and when the

Penny’s closed where she worked everything was on sell super cheap. I guess she bought a lot

because everything had a price tag still on it. I do wish I would have bought the lantern

type candle holders in the front there but I didn’t=)

I bought to much jewelry but the price was to fantastic to pass up!

Now the clothes were a dollar a piece a lot of small sizes but I managed to find

a few that fit and was thrilled when I found one item that I’ve looked for all last

winter…I’ll show you in my next post. 

I’ve been wanting one of these for Buster for a while now but didn’t want to pay

the price for one. I bought it for $5.00, couldn’t believe it, still in great condition!

Buster can eat comfortably now, it also cut down on a lot of mess from the dog

bowls.

She also had a duck, not for sale though, he was swimming in a kiddy pool.

The lady said he was going to a farm that weekend because it was getting

to be to much.

We have also been boating a lot this summer, last Sunday we were on the water all day,

the weather was beautiful.

Also had a great 4th of July this year, all my kids were here and the grandkids

for the holiday. My oldest grandchild Sydney, she has had the braces on for

over a month!

This one is so much fun, he isn’t afraid of anything! He loves the water and loves to

jump in even off the diving board, here he is with his mom and dad.

I’ve been babysitting a lot so far, here he is going down the slide as

you can see he loves Batman

Well, that’s what I’ve been doing since my last post, as I said before I promised myself

that I would enjoy this summer, the grands are growing up so fast and I do want to

be with them.

Pittsburgh, Mt. Washington and Nicholas

Hello all you Eskimos out there, I’m sitting here with a throw over my lap (a new throw btw) like an old lady, I’m freezing’',

it’s 3 degrees out and I know we haven’t had this Artic freeze as long as some of you but I m tired of it

already. The kids had no school today and a 2 hour delay for tomorrow morning.

In my last post I mentioned that we went to Mt. Washington, I took some pictures and thought I’d share

a few with you.

This is the Point and where the 3 rivers meet Allegheny, Monongahela and the Ohio rivers.  At one

time there was a settlement on the Point also.

This statue really impressed me as it was huge and made of bronze, it’s George Washington and

Seneca leader Guyasuta.

You can see the bridges to the left, I think I count 3 of them.

Then we all went for lunch at Mario’s on the Southside.

Really good food there and nice family atmosphere too. Then on to the movie where we viewed

American Hustle, very good but not what I expected. Jennifer Lawrence played a great part so

I’m anxious to see the Oscars this year to see if she’s nominated.

Christmas was wonderful, we couldn’t wait for the kids to come, Nicholas loved his Thomas the Train riding toy that I

just couldn’t resist buying him.

I’ll be babysitting him Thursday and I can’t wait to see him and get him to show me all his Christmas toys.

I’ve also been sick but I’m feeling a little better today.

We Are Having a Wedding in June

Here we are last Saturday at the bridal shop getting measured for the dresses! Sydney, Alex and Samantha!

Nicholas is in the wedding too! Here he had just woke up!

With the dresses on, not the colors that they will be wearing though!

Syd is turning into such a young lady, just can’t believe it.

They are all growing up right before my eyes!

I think they had a good time trying on dresses.
Beautiful dresses, both brides and prom goers were there so it was a very busy day for the bridal shop!

He was such a good boy!

Hey, My Blog is on FB,Nicholas’s 1st Birthday and Chloe

(Warning Picture Overload)Hello everyone, did you have a great Labor Day weekend? We had a very busy one, first we celebrated Nicholas’s first birthday Saturday, what a blessing he is to us all! So indulge me here for a “Grammie Moment” okay? Look at those two teeth! Such a good baby!

Now… a new addition to our doggie family, meet Chloe, she is a bishon/poodle and I so wish she were mine but she belongs to my daughter and the girls:)

She is 81/2 weeks old, I know she wishes this one below would just leave her alone:) They are both cuties though.

Now on to my Facebook page for my blog, I finally did one although I wouldn’t have been able to without Michale’s help and of course my friend Debbiedoo’s, I really don’t know what I’d do without her, stop by because she has decorated her blog for fall…so cute Deb! This is a new adventure for me having a FB page and I’ll certainly try to keep it updated but I’m still in the learning stage so have patience with me:) It’s located on the right on my sidebar and I’d love it if you would LIKE me too on it.

Hobby Lobby Again and I was Featured!

Hi everyone, sorry I’ve been away for almost a week but I’ve been working and there just wasn’t anything I felt was interesting enough to post about. On days like that I mostly visit as many blogs as I can or you can find me on Pinterest wandering around.lol
I did finish this other little tray that I bought a good while ago at GW, I use it on the table in my entryway, I had it painted blue but just felt it would look better with the homemade chalk paint I had left. On the distressed parts I used clear Minwax that I added black craft paint to and I love how it turned out, I still have to do the end table hopefully sometime this coming week I’ll get that done!

I was also featured on Domestically Speaking Popp Spotllight, YEAH!!! I’m thrilled to say the least, here’s the picture MaryAnn featured! Thanks you so much MaryAnn!


I was at Hobby Lobby again, 3rd time there and I love it! We went there first this time instead of last so I got to look around more. These are the cute knobs I picked up this time, I might use them on my tv stand I’m not sure yet though.

I picked up this cute little vase for half off of $2.99, really getting into this color! Rabbit is from Target, $2.50!

Awww, tulips don’t you just love them? Somehow they just say Spring to me!

Right now I have them on my little stepladder with a black ribbon tied around the vase!

Another pic of them, the ruffled burlap tablerunner is from raggy girl vintage.

I bought this green K letter and thought it would look good on my front door but it’s to small looking and looks lost so maybe with a wreath around it?

We were ready to leave and go to Marshall’s when I spotted something for this little guy, don’t you just love his hair, his dad’s was the same way!

A turtle Easter basket sooooo cute! I’m keeping it in the guest room I’m not sure if Buster would bother with it or not but I’m not taking any chances!

After we hit Marshall’s, TJMaxx, Homegoods and Kirklands, I’ll save what I got at these places for my next post. In the mean time here is a tease of one thing!
