Hi Ladies! The weather has turned from down right cold to hot and it looks like the rest of the week is going to be that way too! I’m so ready for it! So bring it on!!!
I thought today I’d take you on a tour of my livingroom, I haven’t showed it for a while, everything is the same but this time I can talk about some things that I didn’t get to before!
I’m still loving the burlap, apple green and my Extorp sofa. I love Ikea just wish it was closer, like 37 miles closer:) That’s where I got the black and white pillow too that you see there! The green ones are from Marshall’s.
I like taking pictures like this…it’s great to see where something should be moved to or to just take it out of the room altogether! I’m thinking like the shutter should be moved and more pictures added below the ones on the gallery wall.
Lately I’ve been using my spring smelling candles, this one is called Mountain Lake from Yankee Candles, the windows are open and the curtains are blowing in the breeze making the whole house smell fresh and clean.
To take this picture I was standing right in front of the screen door to the back porch.
I’ve been so tempted to paint the step back cupboard that Stush built for me one Christmas I guess I’d go white but not stark white! What do you think?
Well, it’s over the hump day and the weekend is almost here, what will you be up to? I will be either in my daughter’s pool or on the docks!

I love how you have decorated your home, it's so cozy. That white hutch is gorgeous.
I love the color of the stepback, I would probably paint the inside white, and leave the rest. But do what your heart tells you, it's only paint :)
I really like this room theres lots of personality and interesting things to look at, I especially like the gallery wall of art :) I really need to be braver and start hanging more things on my walls!
Your living room looks so nice-bright and sweet for the summer months. It is fresh looking, I don't know if I would pain the stepback. I really love the color and I think it looks summery. If nothing else you could line the back behind the shelves with wallpaper or apply fabric using starch for a change. xo Diana
Beautiful livingroom! Loving the green pops of color. I like your idea of painting the cupboard white but then again, I'm a paintaholic. Nothing is safe around me. I agree with Teresa, it's only paint ;-)
I think the piece should go white also. Love the pops of apple green you are using:)
Everything looks so pretty! Love your pillows and i agree - that white hutch is so pretty. I like the blue one too! Like you, I do like to go to Ikea but it's 45 miles away from me! Thanks for popping in to see me.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
I love the pop of your apple green pillow against all the white! Such a pretty space…thanks for sharing.
Rondell I just love that giant wreath on your front door...Please come over and make me one ok??? LOL

Come visit me--our IKEA is closeby! Love your room--cozy and welcoming and the touches of green are a nice pop! Would the shutter fit on that skinny wall between the kitchen and living room?
Your house looks so nice, Rondell.
The living area is such a comfortable space. Everything looks ready for summer.
Enjoy the pool this weekend.
xo
Lovely home. Stylish and comfortable :)
I think it looks lovely. Love the shade of green you have picked, it goes beautifully with the whites and cream. I would add a dash of a warmer color like orange or red just to balance things out a bit. Beautiful home!
Your living room is looking chic and stylish.
I have an Ektorp sleeper sofa in our guest room. I have had it for 10 years and it has worn beautifully. I change the slipcovers from blue and white stripes to red corduroy depending on the season.
The closets Ikea is 50 miles away and that is actually a good thing. I took my daughter to Ikea when I visited her in San Francisco recently. I spent way too much on stuff for her - a birthday gift piece of furniture led to far too many other odd bits. If I had been in my car, I would have spent twice as much on thing for me.
I just love peaking into someone's home. Rather like when you take a walk at night and get to see what the inside of a home looks like from the vantage point of the sidewalk! Your home is so cozy and comfortable. Invites someone to want to sit a while and chat over a cup of coffee and biscuits! Thanks for sharing!
such a nice and cozy room. love the colors in the space.
love all your wonderful touches and those great pops of Spring Green!!
Hi - I love your white couch! Is it an ikea one? Slipcover? Is it hard to keep clean?
I love the style and colors in your home. It's so warm and inviting.
I like your colors. Your pieces flow very nice. Enjoyed seeing your space.
