Hello everyone!
I hope you are all doing well and enjoying these last days of summer,
I can’t believe how fast it went by, my granddaughters go back to school
next week already.
Over this past weekend I joined a friend at her home for a 3 day yard sale, they
are such hard work aren’t they? Especially when you have to transfer your junk
over to a different place, Paula’s sister-in-law and daughter Becca were there selling too,
so there were the four of us. We did really well, here is my pile before going in the car.
I’m glad it’s over though…I was in bed at 10 every night!
I did find somethings to buy and I think I got some great deals.
Becca had some neat things on her table…
such as these three Clarins products that she
bought but never used, about $70.00 in product, I know I used to sell it. Becca sold it to me for,get
this…$5.00, so if you see me with my boobs up
under my chin you will surely know that they work! Ha!
A pillow for a $1.00 from the SIL, it sort of reminded me of a Pottery Barn one. I love the little lobster down in the right hand corner.
$5.00 is all Becca asked for these barely worn Skechers I’ve always wanted
a pair to run to the store or to get gas…love them!
Anyone have a yardsale this year? How did it go? I would love to hear about it.
I’ll be joining:
Thanks so much for stopping by oh, and I haven’t forgot about my giveaway either, I’ll have it after the kids are all back in school…okay?

We did a yard sale a couple of weeks ago and didn't do good at all. We've had several over the 20 years that we've lived here and they had always been good, but wasn't meant to be this time around. So...we took it all to the Goodwill.
Love the Skechers you got and that pillow is very cute with the little lobster on it.

Looks like you got some great stuff. Esp the set of Clarins products. I wasn't able to get out to too many sales this summer since I was busy working on our house.
It is hard and it is a lot of work and usually difficult to price things knowing what you paid for them...people expect to get the items dirt cheap...It is a great thing to do if you want to get rid of stuff but not to make a lot of money for your things, just have a lot of items and then it kind of adds up...Phyllis
I just had a yard sale on the weekend with everything marked low so I could get rid of it instead of having to pack it back indoors or take it to the thrift shop! It worked!!! Only two small boxes had to be gotten rid of. YAY!
Great finds!
You found some good deals! I haven't been to a yard sale in a very long time. I think the last one was a neighbor down the street. I did buy a wicker loveseat for my porch then. I really should try to go to more. There are so many good things if you go early.
I had our first yard sale a little over a month ago...to be more exact, a multifamily yard sale...in our yard. I priced and sorted all the item donated. A lot of work, but it was for a good cause.
Oh -what a big job-I haven't had a yard sale in years but SHOULD..lol
When your boobs get under your chin please post pictures. My boob sleeps next to me in bed- xo Diana
Our old neighborhood held a yearly yard sale that we participated in once. It was a lot of work and I decided I would rather shop my neighbors sales than have one myself. Great deal on the Clarins and the pillow is really cute.
Thanks for linking to the Open House party.
xx,
Sherry
Looks like you got some great stuff! I hate having garage sales, and we usually just take stuff to Goodwill. However, we may try one in the early Fall. Here in our neighborhood, they have 2 all-neighborhood sales and all you have to do is have your stuff out in your driveway. The management staff puts the ad in the paper along with a map of where each participating home is located. Although we haven't participated before, we have gone around and chatted with and met some neighbors, so it can be a social event, too!
