Picture Perfect

Hello all!
Do you blog hop? I do, all the time and most of the time I do learn something, love that, keeps the brain going, your never to old to learn something, am I right?
Well, I was blog hopping today and ran across this great informative blog, Life with the Crust Cut Off it was so neat how she showed you step by step how to get great pictures on a  budget. I’ll admit mine at the beginning of my blogging years weren’t to great and going back to look over them (around 2009) was embarrassing but live and learn!  Wanting great pictures I did find PicMonkey and joined after a while the $4.99 a month to be able to use all the neat things it had. Unfortunely, I didn’t know how to use some of the stuff they have on their site, that’s why I’m so happy I found Life with the Crust Off believe me I pinned her blog post to my board Blog Loven so that I can go back and read more, she also shows how to use text and banners, which I’m still not good at but I’ll practice more to get it right. I’m 62 so I haven’t grown up with a computer, closest thing we had to that was an electric typewriter…so I’m so thankful that there are people out there that post about things that we oldens don’t know…it helps us so very much!
Here are some photos of mine that I did on Picmonkey after reading her post…

This picture of the white chair was really hard to fix because it was that bad:) 2009 I found the chair on the side of the road in the early 80’s.

This one is 2008. It was all faded looking but Picmonkey helped at least with color. This is from my prim days.

I took this photo the other evening while sitting at my computer I looked up and saw this pretty sunset, so I went outside to take a picture to share with you. This picture and the one below is with a different camera.

This one was taken thur the window, I have these petunias in my flower boxes. I hate to see them go with summer coming to an end.

I am ashamed when I look back at my early photos. But, that is part of the reason I am blogging so it is nice to be reminded of how far I have come AND how far I still need to go.

Thanks for the tip about Life With the Crust Cut Off.

It is SO DRY here! The grass is all brown and hard and crunchy. Might as well just let fall come now, because nothing is growing anymore. However, I AM lovin the cooler nights!

Love picmonkey:) I agree I can go back years into my blog and find some pretty horrible shots. LOL I cringe when I think someone may look at them. Goof for you learning something new:)

I'll have to check out that blog. I'm always trying to improve. I use PicMonkey and also Picassa. I have Photo Shop & use to use it all the time, but kind of like these other two even better. I'm just so grateful for digital cameras & cringe when I think about all the printing I use to do and ended up with one or two decent photos!
