Crock Lamp

Do you see the jug/crock lamp in the picture below?  I still have it even though everything else has
been sold even the punched tin shade. I was just wondering if I could use it now even though
I have a different style…I consider what I’m doing now to my home to be Electic style.
I know I need a new lamp shade, if anyone knows what type I should get please let me know!

Stush and I have been kept busy for the past couple weekends with a baptism and a
wedding so I’ll share some past Spring pictures with you since I’ve been to busy to work on anything. I know I can’t wait to see
some green grass and pretty spring flowers.

I can’t wait to see all this again, it seems like it’s been forever doesn’t it? I
guess after a hard winter everyone is looking forward to spring.
Have you bought anything springy yet? I haven’t but I’m so tempted.

I would definitely keep that lamp Rondell...is that a blue stripe on the bottom? You could always use a bleached burlap shade like the ones PB has or even one of there print ones in blue.

Rondell- That is a great old lamp. I think it would be a great candidate for a burlap shade OR even a ruffled shade...lol....or anything in between.

I am no good at this stuff but I agree with the other gals...something a little rustic?

Love your warm weather pictures, they are popping up on blogs all over the place! We are all patiently (??) waiting for spring! Ha!

Jane

Yes...you should keep the jug lamp...I agree with others that a burlap shade would look great on it.

Maybe just the wire frame of a the shade??? I think it is going to be a long time before Spring comes to my neck of the woods, we are still buried in snow.

Beautiful! I'm so ready for spring. We are actually having spring weather here right now but surely it's just a tease. :)

I have started adding flowers to my home, so I guess that's helping it feel more like Spring. We've been enjoying some milder temps here, but I think its' supposed to get cold yet again. Argh!

Oh yeah, keep the lamp. I have lamps of all styles and I love each and every one. I agree a burlap shade would be so cute. Sounds like you have lots going on, enjoy!

I love that lamp! I had a similar one years ago that had a mauve stripe (yikes!). I think it would look fab with a burlap shade too like the others have suggested. Or a linen shade with a lot of texture. Jane
