Happy Tweaking Monday♥

I had some fun tweaking my newly painted coffee table, I’m loving the neutral look of it! I just want all of you to know that I’m having so much fun redecorating in this style…I walk into my livingroom and it’s so light and airy and surely puts a smile on my face.
I wish I could make the pictures bigger but since changing to the newer templates nothing has gone right for me in that area, I did switch back to the old templates thinking that it would help shrink the picture in my header but as you can see it didn’t. I went to blogger HELP and they said I had to change it in HTML…fine, but I never did find the >imag  that they said you had to find…of course it was midnight when I was trying to find it!!! Oh well, maybe someday blogger will remember to explain things in laymen terms for all of us that aren’t computer geeks!

I found this small wooden tray at GW a while ago for .99 and put it away because I didn’t know what I was going to do with it, as I was shopping around my house I found it and thought of shells and candles! I may paint it white but for now it’s okay with me!

I added the tea light in a pretty glass holder, doesn’t it look so calming!

Then I remembered the star fish my friend had given me so I included them, I think they added just the right touch!

Here is another view…I’m loving my new carpet too!

The top of my frig needed some attention so I added a basket I got at a community yard sale a few weeks ago, the jar full of wine corks from Walmart and in the other jar some really nice faux herbs that I got on a road trip to Deep Creek Maryland!

My kitchen cabinets will hopefully be painted a creamy white by next spring:)

I’m using live writer today, loading photos is much better than blogger!
I hope you leave a comment, it make me smile♥

Everything is looking beautiful!
The starfish were just the right touch.
I haven't tried the new templates just yet or live writer. I could use some updating on my blog though. So just might have to give them a try.

You have a wonderful theme for your blog. How fun to redecorate and have fellow bloggers join in. Love the colour for your coffee table. I love seashells and I was drawn to your tray, yes, teh stafish are the finishing touch.
With all of these projects I was pleased you still had time to join for tea. You are welcome anytime.
Have a great week.

Rondell,
I took a break from blogging and checking in and oh, my...You done Americana'd and black'd yourself out did you? What a change! I love it but I will miss your Prim posts, too :(

I haven't done anything Prim or for my house in so long. I learned how to repurpose clothing and now spend my craft time behind my sewing machine creating things for my family and I to wear....Someday I hope to get that Americana star quilt for my bed started :)

Have a great day!

Love your table! I think I called this a bench before. I didn't realize it was this large! Sorry! Anyway, It looks fantastic with the new paint and the decorative pieces you added over the original cutouts! That was a great idea! Your home is looking so fresh for sure! I love it!
