White Wednesday and Before and After

I finally got my new chandelier up in my diningroom, everything else is a mess but it sure is a beauty…I’m so  in love with “her”.

Of course I’ve been painting and my next project was an old sewing machine cabinet that was given to me in the 90’s, I had stripped and stained it but it was time for a new look and I also wanted it back in my room off the kitchen…here it is in the garage.

Yes, the sewing machine, a Franklin, is still in it and you operate it by rocking the very bottom part and the wheel turns and it still has the different tools to use with it too!

Here it is now, I bought the glass knobs at Target, I missed having it in front of the window with a lamp on it.

The lamp I found for $5.00 at the yardsale, I forgot to show it, this is what I put on it for  now to take pictures.

I still have to do a little distressing but couldn’t wait to get it in here!

Hope you like it!

Look at that. Not sure what I love more...the chande or the sewing table make over....how about BOTH! Perfect, and great score on the lamp.

It turned out great...love it painted white. I have one like it, but mine is a Singer machine. I need to do something with mine...when I got it the top part had been sanded and is unfinished.
Love your chandelier!!

Love the chandelier... very pretty! Her mother lives in my dining room, lol.
Nice job on the sewing table. My daughter uses one as a nightstand== also has the machine still in it. that thing on the bottom you rock back and forth to make it "go?" It's called a treadle, and my grandmother sewed MILES of seams using one of those.
Lovely post!

Hi Rondell, thank you for stopping by and joining my blog. Your home is beautiful! I love the way you decorated with fall items too. The little sewing machine is one of my favorites. I see them all the time, have lots of drawers from them which found a place in my home, but I still keep my eye out for a bargain on one with the base. I had one years ago, and sold it. But now with the home I'm in have more room for one. You did a wonderful job on the make over. Keep up the good work, tami from the high street cottage
