I finally feel better, thanks goodness, I didn’t have the flu but bronchitis, I did get the flu shot while I was at the doctors last Wednesday and the cough is finally going away!
Those days I was sick sure put me behind in my painting so today was beautiful here in PA. so I grabbed a paint can and went outside!
Remember this? I bought for $15.00 at a yardsale the day of a wedding we went to…it’s from the 70’s and needed to be painted white and updated from the orange seat to some pretty fabric that I found at JoAnn”s. So here it is…
I don’t know where I’ll put it right now it’s in the room off the kitchen, I at first thought that I’d use it in the diningroom you know, take two chairs out and use this in place, but the rest of my chairs are painted black and it just doesn’t look good to me.
Here’s the fabric I found, I just fell in love with it!
Pretty huh? It turned out better than I dreamed it would and was really easy to cover♥
I’m linking to Faded Charms White Wednesday’s and Transformation Thursday also Show and Tell. So glad to be back to join up for these parties.
Have a great evening♥

It's beautiful Rondell! And I'm glad you're on the mend... a bug of any kind is no fun!

So glad that you are now feeling better. Love the bench!! I have that same fabric on the back of a quilt...so pretty! I can't wait until my shows are over...so that I can start painting some of my pieces white.

The bench came out great! YAY- for the power of white! - Carmel
Great find and a beautiful makeover! Just lovely!
So cute! 70's furniture is so ugly but you made it very pretty. I think it would look cute by the front door if you have the room, but wherever you find a place will be great.

Thank you for your kind words about our move. I did cry and cry over the frig and I am filing a claim. I think that they will have to replace it with a new one because it is that damaged. The furniture will have to be fixed too. Lots of messed up stuff this time.
Stopping by from Southern Comfort in a Northern Life.
Beautiful!!!!
You did an amazing job

Your bench is beautiful!!! You did a fabulous job!!
I'm sorry you've been sick...great to know you are on the mend. Back in the 90's, I suffered from chronic bronchitis. NO fun!!! I actually prolapsed my uterus and ruptured a disc in my back (which required surgery) because of all the violent coughing associated with bronchitis. So, I can relate to how you have been feeling.
You said in your comment that you live 30 miles SW of Pittsburgh. My family was several generations Pittsburgh-ites (McKeesport, Upper St. Clair, and Carrick/Brentwood). I actually grew up in the South Hills...Pleasant Hills. But then my parents moved away (leaving all our extended family) when I was 15. I've only been back to visit about 8 times since then...and not since the late 80's.
Blessings to you,
Patti
