A Cloche Party at A Stroll Thur Life!

Hi everyone! I can’t believe tomorrow is November 1st can you? The months are flying by and soon we will be decorating our Christmas trees! For some reason I’m just not ready for that! LOL

Now on to the Cloche Party that Marty is being a fabulous hostess for! Right before my trip to HomeGoods I had left a comment on Marty’s blog saying that I was going to look for a cloche while there and this one was is the first item I chose to bring home with me. I love the word Chocolate on it don’t you? They also had them with the words Pastries and another word but I forget it, darn! Maybe cake?

My kitchen is a mess so there wasn’t any time to make anything,so when we went to Lowes and Home Depot that day, we stopped for lunch at Eat and Park where I bought four chocolate cupcakes and boy, were they delicious with a crème filled center! Hubby kept asking if I had taken a picture of them yet so he could eat them…I had one and he had three!

I also tried a couple more plates under it to give it more height!

Then I thought about my black and white checked pumpkin that I bought at Target last year and placed it underneath the cloche! I took the bow off that had came with it and added a black one…cute!

Here it is with the wording on the other side, the cost of the cloche at HomeGoods was $12.99, I didn’t think that was bad at all!

I’m going to be working on my kitchen tomorrow since I’m off, I just can’t wait to finish it!

Stop by A Stroll Thur Life to see all of the beautiful cloches and while your there join in!

I’ll also be at Savvy Southern Style for the WOW Us Wednesday party!

Well, for starters, I adore your new cloche!! You know someone posted in their blog about how to etch on glass with a special etching cream. You have given me ideas for gifts to make for Christmas and I owe your one! Thanks a million. I have seen the pyrex baking dishes etched with names on them, but I am in love with your cloche and can hardly wait to make a few.

Your cloche looks great, Rondell! So cute with the pumpkins inside!
I'm sure you will have fun with that one. Adding extra plates made a difference in the appearance.
Have fun with your kitchen.
