Well, we made it to the View and it was just so much fun. The wait in line was about 2 hours (so worth it ) but the weather was great…a wonderful fall day in NYC!
Whoopi was off that day (so disappointed) and I’m not a Harry Potter fan but it was still neat to see and be a part of. They had free coffee and pastry while you
waited outside and they were all very nice.
After the show was over Barbara Walters came back out and thanked us
all for coming, which I thought was nice of her.
During commercials you could ask them questions, I got to ask where Jenny got her glasses from, she said she gets them for free (so envious ) and the ones she had on that day were an Alexander Daas, she needs to wear glasses because she’s blind as a bat she says, and contacts just pop out on her. She is very pretty btw.
This is where we waited in line before getting inside the studio.
Of course we shopped on Canal Street:)
This is where we stayed.
This… we think was Carrie’s home for Sex and the City in Greenwich Village.
These next few brownstone homes are on the same street as our hotel and were built in 1854.
and we ate!!! Little Italy!
Sorry this one blurred, I used my new iphone for the pics, so much easier than lugging a camera around. This is a pic of the cabbage plants that I love but can never find around here.
This is my new iphone it’s pink but I think it is more a coral myself, my first iphone and I’m loven it I learn something new everyday on it.
I think our next trip will be sometime next spring.
Thanks for stopping by.
I’ll be joining these parties:

Don't you just love NYC. Last time we went, we stay in Soho. If I had a ton of money, space and a private airplane to bring all my purchases home, I would have shopped my way through the city. As it was, we just enjoyed food, music and people watching.
And, I am envious of your new phone. I still have a 3GS and am not eligible for an upgrade 'til August.
this sounds like so much fun, I'm so happy for you. I've always heard wonderful things about Barbara Walters, she sounds like such a class act.
Loved your story about your trip. Lucky you! I have had an iphone for years (since the first one came out) and for the life of me I can not take a decent photo with one. Wish I knew your trick.
Sounds like such a fun trip. Hugs, Marty
Sounds like you had a great trip and a fun time. I have an iPhone too and I love it...but it is one model down from yours. My hubby just got the one you have in black. Mine is white...wish they had more than just black or white when I got might. Love your pink one...so cute!
hugs,
Cindy
It would be so much fun to be in the audience of the View! That is the exact iphone that I plan to buy. I want the pink one too. (I agree though, it looks more coral in person) I have a smart phone, but never had an iphone before.
It must have been so much fun to be in the audience at the View! That is the iphone I plan on getting soon. I've never had an iphone before either. The pink is my favorite color too. Although, like you, it looks more like coral to me.
What a nice trip! I am so envious....I really need a girlfriends' trip!
Great photos. I woud love to see inside Carrie's apartment building!
