Dreaming in White

Hello everyone,

I’ve been busy, like all of us here in blogland…decorating for Christmas and working part time has kept me away from here except to read all the great blogs and to get so inspired by everyone one of them! You are all doing such an incredible job on your homes, here’s what I’ve got done so far, hope you like:)

I bought this tree when I was single after a 25 year marriage, tends to lean to the side(on purpose) a little and at the time it reminded me of me…leaning to the side but still standing!

An ornament my mom bought me years ago and I remember thinking “it’s not prim” how did she know it would fit in years later!

The chair that I found on the side of the road, wish the other owner could see it now:) I think it looks beautiful, the quilted stocking I’ve had for years!

With tons of Christmas decorations in bins I tried to bring out only what I can use, can’t go and buy everything new so I added white or silver ribbon plus greenery.

I used touches of red, because I had to and silver and I’ve had a great time decorating in this style.

I have added lights and greenery to my kitchen cabinets for a few years now really pretty at night, now if I could only get rid of the extension cord:)

Added some silver pears to my willow branches.

100_3500

My hutch that Mr. K built for me two Christmas’s ago♥

The wicker sled was my mom’s and I have it filled with mica snowballs, I think the sled is from the 60’s I remember it being on the diningroom table.

I sure have more photos to show but will save them for the next time and really try hard to be back on here sooner than later.

I’m linking to Kim’s Boring to Better party and Kath’s Faded Charm, have some fun and get alot of Christmas inspiration by stopping at both parties:)

I love the greenery and decor on top of your kitchen cabinets. It really pulls the holiday look into your room. Your white decor is very classy. White always works!

Rondell,
Everything looks so pretty!! I know the feeling of not being able to change everything all at one time. I decorated our main tree with all snowmen since they are white. Got to get back to painting more pieces white after the holidays.
