Finally Got it Done!

Thought I'd show you my new zebra pillow cover I bought at Bed Bath and Beyond.
My bench that is…took me a while even after I had finished the stool that was my mom’s, I know I sure meant to but life gets in the way sometimes and we all know what that is like! So this morning as I was visiting your blogs and some of the parties out there today… I really got inspired. I had to find some project that didn’t take up alot of time though since I had to go to Sydney’s school and read to her class and I wanted the project to be done before then because later I work 5 to 10!
So here it is, so very easy to do for those that are new to this or just starting out like me:) It also looks so neat!!! I just used painters tap, black craft paint and a staple gun.

These are MY tools, Mr. K had bought these for me when we were dating and they are for women’s hands, I don’t know about you but I just can’t handle men’s tools, to big for my hand.

This is the staple gun and works like a charm and fits my hand just right!

Here’s what it looks like now, I paid $15.00 for the bench at a yardsale and $3.00 for the black ticking pillow, brandnew, at another yardsale!

I’ll be moving it to the diningroom soon!

This is what it looked like in the very beginning, from the 70’s era!

The first time I redid it which I did like but I’m sort of moving away from that style in small ways it seems…

and now♥

I read today in Sydney’s class it was Cat in the Hat day, I took a picture of her and her classmates in her 3rd grade class.
