Painted Pumpkins!

I had fun painting pumpkins this year, I painted all the ones from last year and still have two more to do!
I just used good old spraypaint for the two on the table then tied with black ribbon around the stem!

The zebra table runner looks good with them for fall!
P9171428
Painted this one black!
P9171430
Used white ribbon and a stick from my yard on it!
P9171431
These next two are on my mantel, I used a glitter pen to trace down each side!
P9171437
The candle holders are from the Dollar Tree and I spraypainted them white and tied with a polka dot bow, I think the starfish lends a neat look to it! The bottle I found at the church rummage sale for a $1.00!

Love this, don't know why I didn't think of glitter pens! I tried painting pumpkins with acrylic and it did nothing :( Good ole' spray paint! I am working on a project with spray paint right now, you'll have to check it out in a couple of weeks when I post my Halloween decorations! Love the dollar store candle holders too.

Cute! I love the white ones~very cute with the black and white ribbons and runner.
I think white ones would look better in my house than the orange ones.

Ya know, I never thought to paint a pumpkin before! Strange, I know. I can't believe that never entered my head. I love white pumpkins and sometimes they're hard to find. The orange ones are everywhere. Thanks for the idea. Now, I can just buy whatever is cheapest and paint it whatever color I prefer! Yours look great.

Very cute painted pumpkins! The use of the glitter pin on the small one is smart! Dollar tree decor and paint...very thrifty! Good job!

Thanks for linking to Potpourri Friday. I appreciate you and look forward to seeing you every week!

Hi Rondell,
I just love these faux pumpkins...So much you can do with them...I have a couple I bought last year that I am thinking of giving a new look to. Painting them is definitely an idea. I like how yours turned out. I especially like the way the white one looks on the zebra print runner. Tres chic. Great job.

Hugs and Kisses,
Ana

Hi, I havent been blog hopping for a while. I too, finally gave up the prim decorating. Changed my house too. Just needed that change! I went back to French Country and my eclectic style. I will follow your new blog. Love the pumpkins. This is my favorite time of year.
