More of an Update on MY Kitchen!

Well, we are getting there slowly but surely and what a difference it has made already! The room actually looks bigger and I can’t wait to see when the other side is done, there  will be such a major impact on it!  I’m loven it!

I’m so glad to say bye-bye to this orangey wood!

Before

PA141574

Here is the bottom part. When I stepped back to take a look at the whole of it I almost let it slip that “even the almond counters looked good with the white paint” so glad I caught myself in time! LOL

PB051625

I love how my fridge even looks so much better with the white surrounding it!

After

PB051624

First coat of paint that was sprayed on, I told him he did a fantastic job and he said tell them “What a fantastic husband you have” ! I don’t think he will be in to good of a mood today though, he went to the Steeler game last night with my son and the Steeler’s lost in the last 8 seconds of the game. I watched the game and just couldn’t believe it but that’s what it’s all about, my other son teaches in Annapolis and I don’t think he will have a good day either because the highschool kids all know he is a big Steeler fan. Ah, but life goes on.LOL

Now back to the kitchen! Want to see a sample of my counter top? Oh, it looks so much better than the almond don’t you think? It’s black with a little bit of tan and white mixed in, the name of it is Labrador Granite, see it was meant to be our dog is even included.!

PB051628

Look how good it looks next to the fridge, I can’t wait!

I hope the next time I show you I’ll have the doors on and the drawers in with all the hardware!

Your kitchen is going to be gorgeous! I've never regretted painting my cabinets white. Those countertops are really pretty, too.

Let me first say,

"What a fantastic husband you have!" I wouldn't want him to be left out. ;D

You are moving right along & it's going to be beautiful when it's done.

How exciting. I don't know what I would be more thrilled about. The newly painted cabinets or that refrigerator! What a stunner. I have an old almond one and would love to replace it. Maybe someday. Have a great week!

We are living the same life right now - I'm knee deep in my kitchen cabinet painting project, and feel your pain! My kitchen is completely taped off and "out of service" right now, and I'm SO ready for it to be done!!! I have one more coat of paint to do, and am so excited to see the final result!

It's looking good!! I really think it freshens up the space so beautifully!
