Let’s start in the livingroom, there are just a few right now though, this shelf Stush made for me for Christmas when I was into a different decorating style. I still love and always decorate it,Everything on the shelf is from GW.It sits above my couch/sofa and has a beadboard back to it!
My $5.00 vintage suitcase that sits way on top of the stepback cupboard Stush also made me, dressed in holly and silver Poinsettisa.
Now to the little room off the kitchen, I put my blue mason jars back up there and I just keep forgetting to buy more greens to put in the market basket or tomato basket as some may call it!
This is on my white sewing machine, so pretty I think!
Let’s go into the kitchen, I just bought the Fitz and Floyd plate at Macy’s and it’s sitting by my canisters and I’m still loven the rooster lamp!
The rooster mug filled with holly I found for $5.00 at our yardsale this summer and almost forgot about it till just the other day!
I keep a couple old pictures in the DT votive cup, that’s my mom and dad, I remember her telling me that she traveled by train to Mississippi to my dad’s naval base, he was going to be shipped out. Mom never saw him again for the next four years, she must have sent him this picture because on the back she had wrote “What a pair” they were only in their early 20’s here in this photo.
Also filled my “Chocolate Cloche with some silver ornaments and next to it is my new roo!
Hope you enjoyed my vignettes today, I’ll be taking pictures of my whole kitchen soon, not tomorrow though, I’m off so I’ll be shopping with my daughter tomorrow after Sydney’s Christmas concert in the morning!
I’ll be joining this Christmas Blogger Block Party at:
French Country Cottage for At the Feathered Nest Holiday Party
and a new one at:

Love how you decorated the shelf with the white pitchers and greenery!! All your vignettes are so pretty.
I wanted a different look for Christmas this year, but didn't do it because of the cost. Was it expensive for you to switch your Christmas decor from prim to what you have now?
It took me forever to put my stuff up, because it really wasn't what I wanted.
Have a great weekend.

Everything is lovely. The pic of your mom and dad is the best. Love it.
Being a prim lover I think that shelf is amazing. Wish my husband could make me something like that.

All your vignettes look so pretty, Rondell! I always love to see greenery with white pieces ~ it is so classic and "simple" festiveness.
Hi Rondell! Why can't I ever find $5 vintage suitcases? The last one I found was (and I'm not even kidding) $98.
Your house looks amazing! I love how you used all your vintage stuff, too.
Very pretty vignettes, have fun shopping and thanks for visiting!
Everything looks beautiful, Rondell! I had to do a bit of catching up (sorry), but I'm glad I had some time. I love all your whites, silvers & the lovely mirror garland. I've never seen anything like that before. The wreath topiary is perfect against the mirror. You have some lovely vignettes. Hope you are having a wonderful Merry Christmas time!
