A Little Teeny, Tiny Bit of Christmas

I know I keep showing the corner of this room but I just love how it’s turning out, it feels, in just this corner, that I’m doing something right:)

I went to GW the other day and I swear on the way over there I thought gee, I’d love to find a wire basket…well it’s not wire but a very heavy basket. It’s right at the top of the corner cabinet.

Here is a better picture of it on the bench and one good thing is that it’s started to rust!!! Notice the handles that do go up and down.

You can see in this picture some of the rust.

While shopping at Macy’s I stopped to look at the Christmas trimmings because I buy the girls each one for there stockings every year, I found this one for me though…a Chandelier, I just hung it here so that you could see!

I found the milk glass bowel at GW for .99 and the pastel candycanes at Toy’s R Us.

Also the cute Santa sleigh for .79!

Here is another tiny bit of Christmas, love the snowman  towel, I think I bought them at TjMaxx or Marshales can’t remember which! I still have to glaze all three pieces that you see there too.

As you can see I haven’t painted the hoosier yet, or thought of what shade of paint…you can see the paint card taped to the side of it, I think I’m going to wait till after Christmas, our garage is heated so in January when I’m always bored I’ll have something to do.

I want to wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving and may you be surrounded with love, family and friends♥

I’m linking to Faded Charms white Wednesday be sure to stop by for a little rest on the computer from all the preparing and cooking you are doing for Thursday!

Looks good, Rondell. Those pastel candy canes are neat. I'm doing my decorations right now and departing from my natural christmas of traditional reds and greens to more sparkle, whites, and red/white candy canes. My kiddos are loving the change.

Love that basket. I would have scarfed it up so fast if I'd found it :) Your "treasures" are wonderful. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, and lucky you having a heated garage. Mine feels like I'm living in Alaska instead of Oregon so no painting to be done in there :(
