On the Boat and a Sneak Peek!
Well, here we are on the boat for the 4th of July, him and me:) BTW we were married 5 years on May 26th, I think for 61 he is so handsome! My life changed so much when we met again after 30 something years! My kids love him and I do too!
My daughter, Sydney and Sam joined us for the fireworks we were going to see!
Me and the grands!
Thur the locks…
Of course we can’t forget the flag, getting a little tattered I see!
Boats tying up to get ready to watch the fireworks!
River scenery!
This one is my favorite! Wasn’t very sunny that day and the sun would peek out for a little bit but was very hot and muggy, I dislike those kind of days, if it’s going to be hot and muggy than let the sun shine too.LOL
This freaked me out just looking up at it, so high above , they are building a road across the river, it will connect us to Morgantown, West Virginia.
Here’s a sneak peek at what we have been doing around here…
I’ll be back later to post about some things I’ve completed, the wedding/picnic is this coming Saturday…eeek!

What a fun day. Love being on a river in a boat. That bridge is amazing, isn't it? BTW-Your man is very handsome! He doesn't look his age...and is the same age as MyHero! Your granddaughters/daughter are just lovely! xo Diana
Awesome pictures of what looks
looks like a fun day. Your husband is handsome & doesn't look 61. But you don't look old enough to have grandchildren either!
Looks like such a fun time...but when you've got water and a boat how can you not have fun? Great pics...have a good week!
The photos of the water are beautiful.
This looks like the perfect way to have spent the day!
Have a great week,
Barb
Love the photos. Isnt it beautiful when you re-meet someone. I met my husband 15 years ago.....wasnt until last year that we re-met and ended up falling hea over heels in love....but it wouldnt have worked 15 years ago!
Well congratulations on your recent anniversary!! Wishing you many more years of happiness together.
My husband would be so jealous. How has your husband kept all his hair?! My husband, who is only 54, has lost nearly all of his. So, he rathers envies guys that still have theirs.
I love that you two have had a second chance for happiness. I love that kind of scenario. I am fleshing out a novel, in which the main characters, who dated in high school, reconnect when they're both in their 50's. My tentative working title is "Second Chances." Sounds like you and your hubby, huh?
Blessings,
Patti
PS My daughter is on her way home (as I type this) after 2 glorious weeks in Pittsburgh. She even had a chance to go to Kennywood!!!
Love it! You are a boating girl like me! I agree with Gina. You are the youngest looking grandmother I have seen in a very long time!
Looks like you had a fun day!! Beautiful photos of the water and boats.
~Cindy~
oh congratualtions to the both of you...you look a terific couple...wishing you many more happy years together!!
What fun! I loved seeing your boating pics. Your grands are adorable. I was wondering where you were for a minute there when you talked about going through the locks as we have some down near Charleston. I've never been through them before but really want to some day. I've heard it's kinda scary and fun at the same time. Glad to see you had such a great 4th!
