Brought My Yelloware Bowls Out

Also my old cutting boards, the top of the kitchen cabinets looked so bare, like the kitchen wasn’t finished or something which it isn’t, so I thought I’d bring them out of storage for a while. I also made something for the two baskets I have there, I’ll show you tomorrow or Sunday, I bought them at Ikea years ago.

I’ve also been learning more about my camera, thanks to Amiee @ It’s Overflowing and Susan @ Between Naps on the Porch I know I’m not an expert by any means but even I can see the difference in my photos and that makes me happy!

Back to the yelloware bowls-  all are old but only one has a marking on the bottom, I’ll have to look it up.

This one is the first one I ever bought, I think I got it at the fleamarket for $12.00~

This is the smallest one.

My favorite, given to me by our friend, he said he remembers his aunt having red apples in it all the time! I love when I know the story of something I have that’s old.

I moved the black tray to my coffee table and like it alot better so I still need one for the old bottles to sit in!

I’m liking the green with the blue!

My son and dil got me this throw for Christmas and I just love it, it’s from Restoration Hardware, even the box from there was out of this world, the throw was rolled and held together with leather, buckled straps…very impressive!

I’m joining these parties although I’m late:)

I love your collection of bowls! My aunt gave me an antique blue bowl for Christmas that's very similar to yours. Your throw looks nice and comfy! Enjoy your weekend!

Love the bowls, they are all so beautiful. I agree, knowing the history of something makes them even more special. Your tray look great and the throw is stunning. What a special gift. Hugs, marty

I love yellow ware bowls, too! I have a very large one that my mom gave me. I remember helping her mix up chocolate chip cookies in it when I was little, before she got her Kitchenaide mixer!

Hey Rondell! I'm following you on linky now too. I have never heard of yellow ware before but I really do like your pretty bowls. They are wonderful! I think I'm going to have to look this up. They look very heavy and sturdy like crockery. I love the colored bands on them as well!
