Yesterday I just happened to look out our front window and noticed our huge tree was turning gold, so pretty! Last year it didn’t even turn, the leaves just fell off without changing color. Stush said it was because we didn’t have any rain, well this fall is different!
Gorgeous huh?
The weekend was so nice that I even found a yardsale going on! I’ve wanted a squirrel ever since seeing them on a few blogs so when I saw this cute guy I grabbed him up for .25! The chestnuts are from another yardsale from this past spring.
He’s glass so it’s hard to get good pic of him, I just think he’s so cute and the price was right on him too?
My BFF was in NYC and brought me these pictures back so I’m looking for the perfect frames for them, love NYC!
The walls between my kitchen cabinet aren’t done because I just couldn’t decide on what to do with them (plus I’ve been to busy), at Lowe’s I decided to take a look at their beadboard wallpaper…there was only one roll left for $19.99 so I took it as a sign that it was meant for me and that this was the way to go with the kitchen. This stuff is thick is what I noticed first and it does look like beadboard so much, I’ve seen a lot of bloggers using this and it looks great and you can’t even tell it’s not the real deal! Hopefully I’ll get this done for the holidays, gee, Thanksgiving is next month, just can’t believe it! Anyway if you want to see how it looks and how it’s done stop over at the Nutmeg Place where Meg gives a tutorial on how she did her’s…love Meg’s!
Also a great big thanks to my friend Debbiedoo’s for featuring me on her Home Tours … my fall diningroom! It’s always a thrill Deb!
Thanks for stopping by!
I’ll be joining these great parties!

That squirrel is just too funny! What a great little find. Good luck with the beadboard wall paper. My boyfriend just put up real beadboard in the bathroom and I LOVE the way it looks!
The trees are turning beautiful colors here now too.
Congrats on being featured at Deb's Home Tours. Love your Fall table setting in the dining room.

The squirrel is just darling with the acorns in it's back. Our leaves are mostly on the ground now, to much rain and high winds. I think we are moving on to Winter here. Congrats on the feature.
Beautiful picture, I just want to sit beneath that golden tree!
Love that squirrel, the chestnuts are the perfect fit!
Good luck with your wallpaper!
That squirrel is so cute!
I didn't realize you were featured at Debbiedoos! I'll hop over right now. I'm so sorry I missed it Friday.
The tree is beautiful! And I love the little squirrel.
I'm looking forward to seeing your beadboard wallpaper transformation.
Have a great day.

I love your two new pics! They will fit in nicely with your decor. Even better that they came from a friend! I've never used the beadboard wallpaper, but my sister has and really loves it. I'm sure it will look wonderful after it is hung! It's so classic.
Rondell I wish we had falls like you do! It was 90 here today!:( Love your little squirrel and can't wait to see what you do with your breadboard paper. Thanx for coming to THT!
It certainly looks like fall in this picture. We have not had any cool days yet and so we don't have any fall color yet.
I will look forward to reading about your experience with the beadboard wallpaper.
