Spring Tulips and Some Finds

I just couldn’t resist the pretty tulips I’ve been seeing all over blogland, so at Walmart I bought some, I loved
the color of these a lot of you have showed. When I bought them I wondered where I would put them and what I would use for a
vase. Well, the old hoosier and blue ball jar won…

Then I went to Goodwill (I hadn’t been there in months) I found this planter for $1.99.

The lidded basket was a GW find a way few months ago.

The little planter above was just .99 marked USA, I just love it!
I did stop at an antique store and found this watering can for $20.00. It
will come in handy this summer.

Look at the wooden spoon I found and dust broom, no more then $2.00 for both.

These are brand-new S&P’s they were still in the package! I usually buy a set each
Christmas but last year I didn’t find any that I liked.

How about these six cordial teeny glasses…..
pretty engraving on them for .25 a piece!

One thing I’d like to ask is…do you find me adding the price of things that I find, how
shall I say it…offensive? Please let me know in the comments below, I know I see
some don’t care for it and some that do.

You did good! I love the tulips in the blue jar. Also, I'm jealous over your watering can. They always seem to be so expensive when I run across them. Happy Saturday!

You found some great deals. Love the first planter and the tulips look lovely. I can see where ours are starting to come up. Now if the snow will stay away.

Those tulips are gorgeous. That is what we bought for my daughter when she brought the new baby girl home today- pink tulips.

I LOVE knowing what you paid for things. I think it is fun to see what kind of bargains other people get. I think the people that don't like it might be the ones selling similar items on Etsy or eBay for a whole lot more money and don't want to have their prices compared to the bargains we find....just MPO (my personal opinion)...xo Diana

Hi Rondell...your found some wonderful goodies!! Love the red tulips in the blue mason on your scale...it looks perfect there. I have a large wateringcan like yours that I got an antique mall here in town...and mine cost a few more dollars than yours...you got a great price on it. I don't mind when bloggers list the price of the goodies that they got.
hugs,
Cindy

Boy these are some great deals. And personally I love hearing prices, it's fun to see what kind of deals there are in different cities. It's what us bargain shoppers love to hear!

Looks like you had a successful day of shopping! I really like the watering can you found. I don't have a problem with you mentioning prices. I find it to be very informative!

Rondell, a girl after my own heart obviously. A GW shopper. Love the tulips. A perfect place for them. I add prices to some of my things. I think it is so great when you find something that means so much to you and you don't have to sell the kids to get it, and I like to share that.I've noticed alot do that too and never thought it would be offensive to anyone??? At least no one has told me that. I'm not bragging, I'm celebrating!!.Happy Tuesday..Judy

Love the tulips, and can see a trip to Trader Joe's in my near future. I'm kind of on-the-fence with revealing prices. You obviously got some great deals, and I'm happy to hear what you paid. I sometimes have issues with a few bloggers who spend a good chunk of money on something and proceed to tell us what a great deal it was. Really? Was that truly a great deal?
