What I Found at TJMaxx

I know, I bought wood, my husband laughed and I avoided telling him how much I paid for it, I tried to reason with him that it wasn’t just any wood it was birch, he still laughed! I thought it would look so neat in a wood box with lights for Christmas and it even had a burlap bow!!! I actually stood there for a good 10 minutes debating whether I should buy it or not:)

Also found this print of two dogs, I wish it had been labs but I’ll take what I can get. I was really shocked to find it there and actually had to dig for it under other frames. I love it though and for $7.99 I thought it was worth it!

This is where I have it for now between the door and window, I don’t know if it will stay there or not!

That’s it, that’s what I found at TjMaxx this past Friday!
Thanks for stopping by! Don’t forget to like my FB I only need a few moreSmile with tongue out

I purchased 3 white birch branches a few years ago and my hubby laughed too. I still have them and decorate with them in my outside urn.

I would have bought the logs, too! We have some real birch logs that my hubby refuses to burn! They look good on the hearth! Love the dog print, too!

Hi Rondell, I'm loving your purchases. Doesn't everyone need a dog picture? I bought one at Tuesday Morning a while back...because it reminded me of our son's dog when he was growing up. Yeah, sentimental works for me! Helen

I saw these birch logs at Homegoods! I wanted to buy them, but figured I might be able to find some birch in my woodpile and make one myself. My birch isn't nearly so pretty though!

Don't feel bad about buying wood. I've done the same thing. I bought driftwood looking sticks, branches, giant sugarcones, etc. I'm sure we've all done it. But it does feel strange doesn't it? Shouldn't this just be free in our own backyard or something? Ha! I love your birch logs. Sometimes you have to buy what isn't native to your area.

Hey, grab them wherever you find them! They look great! And I know first hand how hard it is to find birch logs.

I love the birch logs, they look great on your hearth. We had a birch tree go down a few years ago and I'm kicking my self for not saving a few logs from it.

I don't think it is funny at all!!! I have been going crazy looking for some. I mean, you just don't go and cut down someones birch tree!! I have got to go to TJs now! Thanks!
